Setelah berbulan-bulan spekulasi, akhirnya Opera mengumumkan ketersediaan dari versi Opera Mobile 9.5 beta 1 untuk UIQ 3 smartphone yang juga termasuk Opera Widget. Ini adalah salah satu rilis yang paling diantisipasi dalam adegan 3 UIQ setelah Opera 9.5 ditunjukkan berjalan pada Sony Ericsson P1i di tahun terakhir 'Symbian Smartphone Show. Masalah:
- Browser menetapkan seluruh sistem rumah baru-halaman, yang tidak dapat dibuka oleh browser Internet tertanam (Opera 8,65).
- Cursor tidak ditampilkan bila HTML mengedit bidang sebagian keluar dari layar. Tidak ada dukungan untuk mode landscape layar karena sejumlah isu sistem dengan mesin grafis OpenGL.
- Browser plug-in yang dinonaktifkan secara default karena adanya dukungan sistem non-ada atau tidak lengkap untuk konten Flash. Mereka dapat diaktifkan oleh pengguna untuk tujuan eksperimental saja, melalui Pilihan> Peralatan> Mengubah pengaturan> Advanced> Allow plug-in.
- Pengalaman penggunaan browser kontinyu mungkin terpengaruh oleh jumlah memori RAM telepon yang tersedia.

After months of speculation, Opera finally announced the immediate availability of Opera Mobile version 9.5 beta 1 for UIQ 3 smartphones which also includes Opera Widget. This is one of the most anticipated release in the UIQ 3 scene after Opera 9.5 was shown running on a Sony Ericsson P1i in last years’ Symbian Smartphone Show. Get it from Opera Mobile download page. Known issues :
- The browser sets a new system-wide home-page, which cannot be opened by the embedded Internet browser (Opera 8.65).
- Cursor is not shown when HTML edit fields are partially out of screen. No support for landscape screen mode due to a number of system issues with the OpenGL graphical engine.
- Browser plug-ins are disabled by default due to non-existent or incomplete system support for Flash content. They can be enabled by the user for experimental purposes only, via More > Tools > Change settings > Advanced > Allow plug-ins.
- The continuous browser usage experience might be affected by the amount of available phone RAM memory.
The Symbian UIQ browser is the latest and greatest UIQ build. It can only be installed on SonyEricsson P1, W960, G700 and G900. First generation UIQ 3 smartphones (P990, M600, W950) with limited memory are not advisable.
